Uaoo. Las comunidades se unieron, ayer en NY. Desde hace semanas se desarrolla este movimiento... ¿evolucionará hasta convertirse en lo que los involucrados esperan? ¿Surgirá ese líder que se necesita para llevarlos más allá? Bueno, ese realmente no es el punto, sino uno más profundo. Las etiquetas. Si no colgamos una etiqueta en la espalda del prójimo, "el caos se apoderará de nosotros"... ¿será así? NINGUN SER HUMANO ES ILEGAL. No existe verdad más poderosa, contundente y aplastante que esa. Todos somos iguales. La descripción geográfica, en este caso, que aparece en el pasaporte no nos define. Claro, tampoco sugiero borrar ni dar la espalda a las leyes que nos protegen del cuco de la anarquía, sino que éstas deben evolucionar con la sociedad misma. Más de un jurista-educador-político-todólogo, me rebatirá mis inexactitudes políticas y legales, pero, básicamente , no me preocupa.
NINGUN SER HUMANO ES ILEGAL. He visto muchas frases buenas, poderosas, esenciales (diache! me gano la vida tratando de escribir una todos los días, y sólo de vez en cuando se logra), y ésta definitivamente es una de ellas.
Vuelvo y digo, las comunidades se unieron, no hubo líos, no hubo arrestos. Felicidades.

Tengo la impresion de que te conozco... quizas nos encontramos en algun sitio del medio en Santo Domingo.
Muy bueno tu post, ahora voy a revisar tu blog.
Esas fotos, por cierto, son de mi primo (Eliezer Galan -La materia), me alegra muchisimo que esten dando la vuelta por estos rumbos... y que hayan captado el verdadero significado de esta marcha.
Odio las fronteras. En lo particular, siempre me ha parecido absurda la actitud del gobierno estadounidense, cuando TODO Estados Unidos esta formado de inmigrantes, quedan poquisimos nativos americanos, y por cierto a estos los tratan de forma indiferente.
Ningun ser humano es ilegal, definitivamente.

A Tree With Many Branches
Achieving Oneness
The world is filled with individuals. Not simply individual people, but unique things, experiences, and thoughts. Thus, the idea of achieving oneness, or connectedness with all things, can seem improbable or even impossible. We are surrounded by an astounding diversity of perception that might be called distractions on the path to oneness. But oneness does not mean same-ness, nor does it seek to homogenize the universe. Instead, oneness is an opportunity to see diversity as the palette of colors from which the universe is painted. It is also a powerful method of dispelling loneliness, despair, isolation, and the feeling that you are all alone because, when you are one, you are not only in the universe, but also the universe is within you.
The cause of so much loneliness and so many feelings of separation is simply that too often we fail to understand the interrelationship of all living things. Each of us is an indispensable part of the universe and all life has emerged from the same vital energy and material elements. We breath the same air, eat the same food, drink the same water, and traverse the same emotional paths. What blocks our ascendancy into oneness with creation, what acts as the barrier, is self-importance, the desire to accumulate, egocentricity, and consciousness of the body. Yet common factors unite us all. We thrive in security, in peace, in times of abundance, and when we accept that all living things are dependant on other living things. Oneness is an expression of an ever-lasting relationship that can awaken and fulfill because comprehending your part of universal unity can free you from the limitations of isolation.
Existence grows upward and outward like a tree, with each of us representing individual blossoms on humanity's branch, and nature represented by innumerable branches. We diverge as we grow, but remain parts of a united whole. Achieving oneness means stretching out your consciousness with humility to accept and be lovingly accepted by the great stock of diversity which makes up that whole.

Que bueno ver a los Dominicanos (mas bien los Latinos) unidos en algo... solo nos queda esperar que esto sea como cuando un carro dura mucho tiempo apagado, y luego dá amgos de prender... y luego de muchos intentos prende al final...
Ojalá un día podamos prender...
